Artist Bio: Roberta Heath
Roberta Heath is the multi-disciplinary mixed media artist behind Twisted Willow Art. Born and raised in Oklahoma, she uses elements of nature, humanity, and mythology to convey the connection of humans to all things. As a child of foster care, Roberta found comfort in her connection to nature and spirituality. Through this connection, she brings the story of relationship into her artwork and prompts viewers to explore their own connections to themselves and the world. Roberta is a trauma therapist who integrates art into her therapy practice to help facilitate healing relational wounds. Her passion for art has been lifelong as she has sought to understand herself, others, and the universe through creative expression.
